Did you know that HIV-positive women can give birth to HIV-negative babies?

Pediatric AIDS Chicago Prevention Initiative (PACPI) helps make that happen. We provide intensive case management, rapid testing and a 24/7 perinatal HIV hotline. IN 2011, ALL BABIES BORN TO PACPI MOMS WERE HIV-NEGATIVE.

Even just a small donation makes a big difference:

• $5 pays for public transportation fare, so a client can go to the doctor
• $20 pays for 2 cans of formula
• $40 purchases diapers/wipes for a newborn
• $50 buys a car seat, required by law to leave the hospital
