Form or join a team

Forming a team for the AIDS Run & Walk Chicago is a great way to build camaraderie among co-workers, students, family and friends. Teams also provide a united force for fundraising.

To join an existing team, begin the registration process. In Step 2, please select “Join an Existing Team”. Then, search for the team you'd like to join. Search our list of existing teams.

To create a new team, begin the registration process. In Step 2, please select “Create a New Team”. As the creator and first participant on this team, you will be considered the Team Captain.

CommunityDirect Teams: Teams formed by the benefitting organizations of the AIDS Run & Walk Chicago. These teams receive 90% of their fundraising dollars back to the organization to strengthen and sustain their HIV/AIDS related services. Teams in this category are formed by organizations whose CommunityDirect applications have been accepted and that are a part of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago’s Service Providers Council.
