Community Village

The 2012 Community Village will host several of our 2012 beneficiaries, partners, sponsors and community supporters.

NEW! in 2012, the Community Village, in collaboration with the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, will provide free and confidential HIV testing services. Individuals who wish to know their HIV status can utilize this service, along with other care and services.

Visitors will engage with AFC’s CommunityDirect partners and learn about volunteer opportunities and upcoming cause-related events throughout the city. Visit the Community Village to strengthen your connection to and knowledge of the fight against HIV/AIDS in Chicago.

Interested in becoming a Community Village partner? Participation criteria are as follows:

• Must have a not-for-profit IRS designation and provide AIDS-related services
• Must agree to distribute only agency-related information and material and refrain from selling products
• Must provide agency signage and supplies, and be responsible for set-up, break-down, and staffing of the table

To become a participating partner in the Community Village, please return the application form by Friday, September 7, 2012.
