Honolulu Marathon

Grass skirts, flower leis, beautiful sunsets, and warm ocean breezes. Where else would you rather be this December than in the Islands of Aloha?

Stepping off in the historic streets of downtown Honolulu on December 9, you'll wind you’re way past the white sandy beaches of Waikiki and wrap around the picturesque Diamond Head Crater just as the sun rises over the Pacific Ocean.

The Honolulu Marathon is the 10th largest in the world and one of most beautiful scenic courses you can find. This event is perfect for beginners and experienced marathoners alike.

Travel Options:

So you can just focus on having an unforgettable marathon experience we've got two travel packages to chose from which includes 3 nights hotel or airfare and 3 night hotel for T2 Participants who meet the fundraising requirements. (additional nights maybe purchased based on availability)

While in Honolulu; T2 stays at the beautiful four star Sheraton Waikiki located directly on the beach of Waikiki.

Training:

T2 USATF certified coaches and staff provide all the support and encouragement along the way.  We encourage you to explore more about the T2 Marathon Training Program by using the links to the left, attending an information meeting, or send us your specific questions to T2EA@aidschicago.org.

Training has begun, but there is time to get you up to speed and ready for race day.

Fundraising:

T2 participants dedicate their training and marathon to helping support the mission of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.  We do this by fundraising. Training and fundraising is a rewarding experience.  You will be surprised at the support you receive from your friends and family.  And, T2's dedicated and knowledgeable staff are here to see you succeed by providing fundraising workshops and one-on-one meetings to help you exceed your goals. Honolulu Marathon participants choose from two fundraising options:
   Option 1: $1,800; includes accommodation for 3 nights*
   Option 2: $3,000; includes accommodation for 3 nights and round trip airfare*

Register 

Registration is $95 ($65 thrul Aug 15) and includes race entry*, a T2 training shirt, a coached training program by USATF certified coaches and all the amenities that come along with being a charity runner. *Honolulu Marathon Participants who meet the minimum fundraising requirement will receive three night hotel accommodation and/or airfare.  Ground Transportation costs are not covered by T2 and are the responsibility of the participant.
