Welcome to Joseph's Page!
Dear Friends and Family,
I’ve decided to take on the challenge by joining TEAM TO END AIDS (T2) and help in the fight against HIV/AIDS! I know what you are thinking; Joe is running a marathon? Yes, I really am and the main reason I made this decision is because many people I care for have been impacted by HIV/AIDS. This cause is not new to me; I have been active in HIV education since college, but I am taking my fight to the next level.
Nearly 1.2 million Americans are now living with HIV and 40,000 more will become infected this year! That is why over the next several months I will train with T2 to push myself further and further to support the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC). AFC is leading the fight against HIV/AIDS in the Chicago area by funding prevention programs and services such as medical care, food and housing, to stop the spread of HIV and help people live full and productive lives until the day there’s a cure.

Founded in 1985 by community activists and physicians, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago is a local and national leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS. We collaborate with community organizations to develop and improve HIV/AIDS services; fund and coordinate prevention, care, and advocacy projects; and champion effective, compassionate HIV/AIDS policy.
