We will be participating in AIDS Run & Walk Chicago 2009. Please support our efforts by making a donation or joining our team to get moving against HIV/AIDS at this fun-filled event on Saturday October 3, 2009 in Grant Park. By making a donation to our team, you help support more than 150 Chicagoland organizations whose work is so critical to the fight against HIV/AIDS. Thank you in advance for your support and your generosity. Because of you, we are on our way to accomplishing our personal fundraising goal. Your donation will help to directly fund the efforts of the Community Outreach Intervention Program (COIP) at UIC. COIP provides outreach and intervention services to reduce the risk of and transmission of HIV and AIDS among high risk populations in Chicago. Recently, the grant funding has been cut, and we are working to keep this much needed program funded now and in the future.
