Dear Friends and Family,
This has been a tremendous year of personal growth for me. I've come to realize the value in being grateful for each day and how important it is to feel and be healthy. When you have that in your life, the rest can be managed. I've decided to take on a new challenge and I am in training to complete the Chicago Marathon on October 11, 2009. The goal of running 26 miles is a huge one but it's also to raise money to fight a disease that I have seen devastate the lives of people very close to me. My goal is to raise $3000 for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) and I hope you will support my efforts.
Nearly 1.2 million Americans are now living with HIV, and 40,000 more will become infected this year! These aren’t just numbers; they’re real people and real families. The AIDS Foundation of Chicago is leading the fight against HIV/AIDS in the Chicago area by funding prevention programs and vital services such as medical care, food and housing, to stop the spread of HIV and help people live full and productive lives until the day there’s a cure.
Please donate today by clicking the button to the left that says, “Sponsor Me.” It’s easy – all you have to do is click the button and you’re ready to donate. Help me reach my fundraising goal and make a difference in the life of someone suffering from HIV/AIDS. Thank you so much for your support.
