World of Chocolate is the AIDS Foundation of Chicago’s (AFC) annual holiday fundraising event held in commemoration of World AIDS Day. At this festive event, guests will sample scrumptious chocolate creations from more than 30 of Chicago’s finest restaurants, caterers, and chocolatiers.
Chocolate vendors creating the delicacies will compete for top honors in several categories as judged by local celebrities. Other components of the evening include entertainment, a raffle, an open bar, gift center, $50 punch board, and a light buffet.

Ticket Purchases:
Tickets purchased before November 16 will be mailed.
Tickets purchased between November 16 and November 29 at Noon will be held at will call the night of the event.
Chocolate Ecstasy, Bittersweet Bliss, and Red Ribbon ticket purchases made after Tuesday, November 22 will not be listed in the program.
After Noon on Tuesday, November 29, tickets will be available for purchase at the event beginning at 5 p.m. Ticket levels and pricing the night of the event: Chocolate Ecstasy Package (6 VIP Tickets)--$1,500; Bittersweet Bliss Package (4 VIP Tickets)--$800; Red Ribbon--$150; and General Admission--$125 each.
A memory wall, a powerful video display of photos and words, will honor those who have died from HIV/AIDS and those who bravely live with the disease everyday at this year’s World of Chocolate gala.
The AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) is inviting people across the nation to submit photos and words honoring their loved ones. The submissions will be featured in a prominent multimedia presentation — a living tapestry of memories — at the World of Chocolate, AFC’s annual fundraiser, on Dec. 1. The memories will also be incorporated into a permanent fixture on AFC’s website early next year.
Submissions should include photos of loved ones who have died of HIV/AIDS or loved ones who are living with the disease. Photos should be at least 600 pixels in one dimension.
The deadline for submissions to be featured at the World of Chocolate is Nov. 22, but photos and words may be submitted for the permanent installation at www.aidschicago.org after that date.
